Struck has worked with clients such as DreamWorks Animation, Fox, MGM, Nickelodeon, Sony, Universal and Warner Brothers to create packaging programs for some of the most popular properties. A recent trip to Toys”R”Us was especially exciting since a great deal of our work is currently on the shelves.
Packaging design is an important part of any brand and should send a clear brand message to the consumer about the product it houses. When it comes to toy packaging the competition is tough and the shelves are well stocked. Struck approaches packaging design strategically from the onset, thinking about what else is going to be on shelf at the time of release; What film franchises will have toys on shelf? What evergreen properties will we be competing with? Which colors are being used?
