Half Awesome, Half Awesomer

In collaboration with Wieden+Kennedy, we helped overhaul the archaic image of a centaur to craft “It’s Two Things”—an interactive space where centaurs give way to other half-man creatures. Man/tank, man/redwood tree, man/mozzarella stick—it’s all creepy, clean fun in the name of Old Spice Double Impact. Executed with ActionScript 3 using FlexBuilder, the site required After Effects compositing, 3D elements, and comprehensive back-end development. To complete the seamless user experience, Struck also incorporated a desktop widget, wallpapers, screensavers and downloadable green-screen footage that allows the user to become part of the scene and chill out mano-a (half)mano with the centaur himself.
